SYDNEY MORNING HERALD- Rookie Jack Wighton, the Raider’s 19 year old Centre says when he was just a boy he was a bit skiddish about the ruff and tumble ways of Australian football (soccer to you yanks) but his Stepdad saw something in him and encouraged him to play. He’s since done amazing things and been compared to some of the greats of the sport. Sometimes all it takes is encouragement from the right role model. Wighton’s Stepdad is one we can all appreciate.
